The ECPM develops talents to promote a creative and responsible chemistry in an international context. You have 12 good reasons for choosing the ECPM to become innovative and value-adding engineers for your future employers.

Develop your talents

  • A multidisciplinary programme which places personal development and the construction of a career plan at its heart
  • Training in project conception, entrepreneurial skills and innovation in close collaboration with our industrial partners (more than 50% of ECPM graduates work in Research, Innovation and Development)
  • A programme strongly anchored in the practical (45% of scientific coursework consists of laboratory sessions)
  • An system of assessment which allows you to compose your skills portfolio.

To promote a creative and responsible chemistry

  • Specializations which correspond to the needs of industry and society: health, the environment, energy and sustainable development
  • A solid grounding in the fundamentals of chemistry: molecular chemistry, analytical sciences, polymer engineering, functional materials and nanosciences
  • A programme supported by internationally recognized leading research.

In an international context

  • An intensive training in languages to acquire linguistic and intercultural skills essential for trilingual chemists living and working in international contexts
  • Scientific courses in English and/or offered in parallel in German (in the final year all scientific courses are delivered in English)
  • One of the three internships (3 months minimum) must be completed outside of France (2/3 of students at the ECPM complete a 6-month internship abroad)
  • An international industrial partner: Dow
  • Immersion in interculturality which leads 40% of ECPM graduates to find their first job abroad.
