Languages

Language teaching is a key priority at the ECPM. To join the School, it is an advantage to have a good level of English, as well as German or Spanish. It is possible to start learning German in the first year here, although Spanish is reserved for students who have already studied it in secondary school.

Every student learns 2 modern languages :

• French students learn English and either German or Spanish
• International students learn English, and French as a Foreign Language.

The first year begins at the end of August with an optional intensive week of scientific English to prepare students for the scientific lectures that they will have in English.

The Language Department has a library/multimedia resource centre and each classroom is equipped with audiovidual facilities.
