Internships

Internships: students at the heart of the company

During their 3-year degree programme, all ECPM engineers complete almost a year of internships within industry, and those who spend an optional extra year gaining professional experience (between the 2nd and 3rd years) do much more.

The three types of internship that you can offer are students are:

  • manual or technical internship in industry (1st year of the programme – final undergraduate year)
  • engineering internship in industry (2nd year of the programme – first postgraduate year)
  • final-year internship in industry or in an R&D lab (3rd year of the programme – second postgraduate year).

Either the second- or third-year internship has to be done outside of France. These internships should allow the trainee to discover the many facets of a career in chemistry. 

68% of students do more than 6 months of internships outside of France during their studies.
