International
The ECPM develops talent to promote creative and responsible chemistry in an international context. The school prepares engineers with the international and intercultural skills necessary to live and work abroad or in an international environment.
Our institutional partnership policy and our organisation promote:
- the outgoing mobility of our engineering students under optimal conditions. The objective is to enable them to acquire a double degree or to validate their chemical engineering degree through recognition of prior learning outcomes
- the integration of many international students into our three programmes
Our courses offer international perspectives to all students, in particular through:
- intercultural classes: the ECPM welcomes 20% international students each year
- the acquisition of intercultural and international skills (integrated approaches in science, language, humanities, social sciences and economics)
- enhanced language skills: two compulsory languages (English and German or Spanish or French as a foreign language) and the possibility of studying other languages; a large number of scientific courses are taught in English and German
- a mandatory internship of at least 5 months abroad for all engineering students
Our participation in numerous national, cross-border and international networks enables us to
- support and finance large-scale international projects and actions designed to develop the intercultural skills of our students (mobility programmes, short training programmes, summer schools, cultural programmes, French as a foreign language courses, etc.).
A solid organisation guarantees a personalised welcome and follow-up of our international students, which relies on the participation of all:
- the University of Strasbourg, through a welcome policy awarded the "Bienvenue en France" label, and all of the ECPM's community:
- local and international engineering students with the Welcome Club which organizes the sponsorship of international students, student ambassadors, etc.
- the teacher-researchers who are referees
- its services
