Biomaterials & Bioengineering

Unit 1121 is interested in biomaterials in the broadest sense of the term: development of new biomaterials with innovative concepts, understanding the interaction of cells with biomaterials, development of new types of implants. The problems addressed are generally of clinical origin and our approach is multidisciplinary, involving clinicians, biologists, chemists and physicists.
